In the 2000s, the evolution of hair products for black hair was marked by a shift towards natural hair care. More black women were moving away from relaxers, creating a demand for products
tailored to black hair types. This shift also emphasized the importance of educating the black community on how to maintain healthy hair.

 

Audia, a mother of 4 children, including 2 daughters, recognized this need and made it her mission to promote love for natural hair textures. She not only inspired by her daughter's hair journeys but also by the community she served, leading her to create SWORLS—an initiative aimed at empowering individuals to embrace and care for their natural hair.
